I have eaten here several times, never disappointed. Order at the counter and sit outside at picnic tables and bring a jacket. Can be a bit cold outdoor seating but food is good. Do not feed seagulls or they will finish your lunch . Only street parking or pay to park in lot by the railroad tracks.

Spent $20 on a piece of snapper, 2 potato fritters and 2 fresh oysters. I found the price expensive. I expected proper potato fritters but they were those perfect circle fritters that have been processed and taste like crap. However, the fish was beautiful and fresh and could've been fabulous except, the batter was thick and undercooked in parts. The oysters were lovely, so fresh and salty and a little sweet but cost $3.60 each (raw). I also bought a mussel fritter for $6 from the guy out the front of the shop (you must pay by cash) and I felt ripped off as there was hardly any mussels inside the skinny, undercooked fritter. If I had only purchased a piece of fish and a lemon for 90 cents then I would have been happy. I really can't comprehend why fish and chip shops sell processed potato fritters???

The best fish and chips in the Bay of Plenty. Can eat there or takeaway. Fresh fish and beautiful surroundings with table and chairs by the sea at Tauranga harbour

I like the place but it could be better with more clean inside the store. And price of fresh fish should be more cheaper as there is no middle man, if it's direct from the sea. It's more expensive than Pac n save. But if you buying fish then I have nothing to say.

Fantastic fresh fish and loads to chose from - always a busy place with nice staff. Might not be the flashest interior but when you can sit outside in the sunshine enjoying the food, who cares!
