This place does the BEST burgers ever. It always exceeds expectations with generous sized burgers and just what you want from a diner of this sort. Friendly workers made us feel very welcome. Great value grub too. Give it a try!

The burger is a dream, the kimchi loaded fries are sensational. I’ll come back to Taupo merely to eat here more. Need to eat double beef otherwise you’ll regret it.

Visited here as a family of 4. A little expensive, a long wait on new years day but food excellent. We ordered burgers and fried chicken. Chicken was really flavorsome with herbs, non greasy and really tender. Potato and Kimura fries also great along with milkshakes! Very polite service despite the wait.

We were expecting amazing burgers but unfortunately we only got average burgers. I got the chef special which was a lamb burger but it was barely warm, which was unfortunate. My daughter’s kid burger was hotter and more enjoyable. My husband’s chilli burger was barely chilli-like but was hot in temperature. We asked for just a kids burger without the chips and they charged us the same price as with chips. So we said we’ll have the chips then, if it’s the same price. Staff were not very chirpy, maybe we got them on a bad day?? The buns are nice, and the chips were tasty. We won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

Delicious burger … read about Pauly’s on Lonely Planet and just happened to come across it … Chilli cheese burger and honey chicken burger were absolutely delicious … got the meal deal so got fries and a drink too. Def recommend!! We then went to the lake side and ate it in the car so good views too!
