Room suited us for one night. Friendly welcome at reception upon check in. Pricey considering the uncomfortable beds.
Spa and pool, our kids loved it. Was a nice way to unwind after a long drive.
Car parking diabolical. We went to dinner only to return and find no available car parks. We did a few loops around town, stopped at the Bottle O and made a call to the Lodge to ask about the parking situation as we had kayaks tied to the roof of our van. "Parking is full, park on a side street" was the response from the receptionist after I'd advised her we were carrying expensive camping equipment and kayaks, after being hung up on twice, assuming that was a mishap on her end.
Luckily by the time we drove back someone was leaving so we could park our vehical safely on the premise.
A convenient place to stay, also wish we had read the reviews before booking.
Kids enjoyed themselves, had their own TV, fan, room. Plenty of space in the family room for luggage, to swing a cat, could even do cartwheels in it.. just.
Understandably a busy season. Obviously room to car park ratio is off. Perhaps dinner guests coming to the Lodge restaurant could be asked to park on the street. Not paying guests.
