We stayed in one of the studios which was perfect for me and my young son. The place was really tidy and just what we needed for a short stay in Taupo. Also was near the lake and easy to find! Bed was super comfortable and there was a handy little kitchen in the video.

Great location, so close to restaurants which was in walking distance and also right opposite the lake. We had balconies directly opposite the lake so wonderful views. Accommodation was clean and serviced daily. Checkin was smooth and quick. Beds were so comfortable - we had a king bed which we absolutely loved. Only negative is stairs to upstairs were steep and bathroom was downstairs. Couldnt fault anything else at this location. Parking was close to our room however parking was tight onsite, however you could park on the street right in front of the premises. Pool and spa were great for the kids also.

The location of this hotel to the town is great, plus it pretty much overlooks Lake Taupo, which is a massive bonus.

The rooms are large, clean, well decorated, have all the amenities you need during your stay. Whilst a basic/standard hotel I would say it is good value for money.

The only small criticism is that it’s looking a little tired in places, especially outside, the pool area and drive ways.

I think if the owner spent some money decorating the outside, perhaps updating some things then this hotel would be a little gem overlooking this beautiful lake.

Would I stay again.....”Sure why not”.
