Travelled with 4 couples in New Zealand and stayed at Point Villas. Very clean, well appointed , and well stocked for breakfast. A beautiful villa with outstanding service by the owner, Peg. Met every need from assisting with acitivites and hiring a chef to cook dinner. Highly recommend staying at Point Villas

Just had the most divine relaxing couple of days staying in Villa One with my two children. Loved the surroundings, the bath and showers were bliss - felt like we were surrounded by nature - gorgeous views and luxurious amenities. Felt like we were in our own little world.

We stayed in Villa 1 over the New Year period. The villa was cosy, luxurious and perfectly set up for two couples. What made this place first-class was the attention to detail. Everything from the architecture to the amenities was well-appointed and designed. My favourite feature was the bathroom overlooking the lake and lush vegetation. Peg, the host, is delightful and made our stay so much more enjoyable. If we get an opportunity to return to Lake Taupo, we will definitely stay here again!

We are a German Family with 3 Kids and spend x-mas 2013 in the wonderful "The Point Villa" at Lake Taupo! What should i say: i think, you can't get a better place there! It was charming, cozy, a indescribable view from every room and especially from the terrace! The showers and the bathtub give you a jungle feeling - great! Peg, the owner, is a very kind and mindful person! Was great to met her! Hope, we can come back sometimes!

This is the first place we stay during our vacation to New Zealand. We arrived in the late evening and were greeted by Peg, our friendly host. The moment we were introduced to our villa we were amazed by the luxurious yet cosy design of the villa. We unloaded our luggage and Peg recommended some good restaurants to us for our dinner. The villa is just about 10-15 min drive from the main town of Taupo so it is quite convenient located. The next morning when we woke up we got our second surprise. This was because when we arrive the day before the sky was dark and we didn't really notice the view outside the glass doors. Just imagine the moment you open your eyes when u wake up and u were greeted by the stunning views of Lake Taupo and it is so close to you. The villa provides almost everything that is needed. I have to pay our gratitude to Peg. She had provided a perfect balance between hospitality and privacy to us during our stay. We feel very much like home and well taken care of. She have attended all the request that we have made and even a case of emergency. Thank you so much Peg. If we have a chance to visit Taupo again, we will definitely come to stay here again.
