I must admit, when I pulled up, I wondered if I were at the right place. The exterior looks like an old 1950s motel however this all changes once you step in your unit.

On arrival you can see the motel is newly furbished. All the fixtures are new, including two comfortable recliner chairs, kitchen appliances, and bathroom. The unit contains two large smart TV with full sky, fast wifi and a combined front loader washer dryer. There is also a heatpump/ac in the room which worked fine.

There were no issues at all with the room, I was left in peace the 4 nights I was there and I figure you just ask for your room to be serviced. This was no issue for me as I was alone and had plenty of towles and was not in the unit a lot.

If i could be hyper critical, the shower shelves are due to be taken out and scrubbed as they are stating to show signs of hard to get grime and the signs in thr bathroom held on by blutak is a bit Meh, but if that's all I could think of it's clear that this is a good motel.

Parking is on-site next to your unit door, if full it can be a squeeze but there is parking to the side of the building if your not confident reversing in your park.

In all a lovely, comfortable stay. I would stay again. Well recommended.

Great place to stay. Location is awesome, close to shops and restaurants as well as lake. Clean and comfortable. All amenities you could possibly need, include washing machine and dishwasher. Heat pump / air conditioner if a little cold or warm. Will definitely stay again

Stayed the one night. It calls itself a boutique motel. It was clean and spacious with several mod cons e.g. heated towel rack, high speed wifi (free), auto night lights in the bathroom. Not too sure about the lake front view as you need to walk across a playing field to the lake front and there are houses that partially block the view. However, the motel is walking distance to the town centre and the lake side walk. Only minor complaints would be empty tissue box and no instructions on how to use the cable channels. All in all, a nice, comfortable, modern motel to stay in.
