Dined in style at osteria . Food was wonderful and a great atmosphere. A must do in taupo. We enjoy the staff and meet the owners who are good kiwi people. The pork belly is an outstanding choice.

The waitress brought the wrong drinks out twice in a row, wrong plates to everyone. Food was ok but selection lacking and overpriced.

Friendly, attentive staff and open/spacious restaurant. We decided to both order pasta - I really enjoyed my penne pomodora secco, it was very tasty but my husband was disappointed with his spaghetti bolognese as he was expecting more sauce/meat. He had food envy!!!

Really nice dinner there with 3 kids (12, 15 and 15). A couple of them are a bit fussy but there is something for everyone on the menu. Really nice pizza, risotto and seafood pasta. Great friendly service as well

You know you have entered a good Italian restaurant by the smell. There is a certain smell of cheese and other ingredients that tells you the chefs know what they are doing. Osteria is like that. Two of us had a pasta dishes at Osteria. One was a lasagne and the other was penne with sundried tomatoes and other ingredients. Both were delicious. Our waiter, from France, was charming.
