My family of 6 stayed for a night at Tui Oaks. I liked that the bathroom was very clean and well maintained. We could use the washing machine and dryer for free. Service was prompt and friendly! One of the better motels we have stayed in. We loved the view of the lake from our unit. It was lovely to see the Singappre flag being raised: up front! : )

We used Tui Oaks to break the long road journey north from Wellington. Its a good location, right on the water front and with everything you need.
Found the room layout a little odd in that with the family room you have to go through the bathroom to the second bedroom, which can become a bottle-neck at times.
We arrived really late and the communication with the reception to get our key and room was really helpful and accommodating.
It was our second stay in Tui Oaks and we'd definitely recommend and use the again.
We found this great motel right on the lake and instead of one night ended up staying 3! It’s modern and clean apartments have everything you could need plus a view to die for. We walk to the shops and restaurants as well as the harbour water activities. Love it!
The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, the lady in charge very helpful and friendly and the location superb. We were all really well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Being able to look out of my room to a beautiful lake view was a bonus.

I give 100/100 to the couple who run the place. We stayed there on the 10th Jan2018. We reached early n without any delay she made us check in. On request our room was upgraded for NZD10. We just fell in love with lake view. The lady was helpful in everything. We highly recommend the place.
