There was a fire in December and it destroyed part of the ceiling and forced the business owners to close :-( A shame because it was such a popular restaurant!

Reasonably priced for large portions of food there was however only one option for kids, tortillas, but my kids ate from the main menu and apetizers (aged 4 and 9) Absolutely delicious melting in your mouth meals drinks were made just as good we had mojito.

On our short stop to Rotorua, we only had one night and so it was imperative we chose the right restaurant. We were very lucky that our choice was the best one. The food was delicious, with lots of variety and very generous portions. The atmosphere was perfect for us to have a relaxed intimate evening, with low lighting to a backdrop of Latin Music. The service was excellent, we were very well taken care of. Overall a top experience (so good we stayed till closing time). A must if you happen to stop in Rotorua.

Not sure why so many have rated this so highly. The emenadas were indeed good, but the main meat platter was reflective of some of my S American travels. Thin cuts of slightly chewy meat with flavor added by shaker and sauce.

I'll probably forget that I ate there in a week. Service started out ok, but after 4 additional tables came in we lost contact with the waitstaff. Had to flag them down.

Average.

Good location, good staff, the quantity of the mains was very good and the empanada was very good. The downfall only is the quality of the meats was not the best as in it was the bad cuts of beef and the pork was chops so little meat, a pork belly would have been better
