We are from Auckland on holiday. Often eat at Indian restaurants up in Auckland.
This place beats anything up here.

The servings are generous and the amount of meat in the curries sets this place apart.

The staff could not have been nicer. The naan was fresh and flavorful. I asked for one of the dishes to be extra spicy, and it was very spicy. I will definitely go back my next time in Rotorua.

My wife booked me an Indian dinner for my birthday. She knew I liked Indian food and was picky. She heard the rumours that Indian star was good and we were not disappointed. Food and service well above the bar. When the manager heard that it was my birthday they comped us with a dessert. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, attentive service and all in the heart of Rotorua. Really good priced meals that you won't be disappointed with. Definitely recommend this to travelers or locals who haven't been before!
