Best views in rotorua, amazing meals. This is a greta cafe/restaurant for lunch or an amazing restaurant for dinner, reasonably priced for the quality of food served here. A real must do for the views if you dont really want a meal have a scone and coffee but the menu will have you ordering more.

The view from their restaurant is stunning as you look over the lake and all of Rotorua. The deer were an added bonus.
Food and coffee was very nice.
Only thing to improve could be a couple breakfast dishes as there were none.

This is a fabulous place to see probably what could be considered the best view of Rotorura.
We found our way by car up to the restaurant and the view can not be seen unless you enter the restaurant so decided to have a coffee and muffins. Both of which were nice enough but it's not the coffee you would come back for.
The restaurant has a spectacular 180 degree view over the Rotorura area and there is the option of dining.
What struck us was the huge potential this place has to be a massive draw card but it's very tired and in some areas of the restaurant its dilapidated state falls short of enticing a second return.
The decor obviously has a lot of historic significance but many of the ornaments are dusty & tired. There is a sense that the premises has been lost in time almost a museum.
Walking outside to take in the views is fantastic and for that reason I'd recommend a visit.
The restaurant menu appears to be more fine dining and the tables are nicely set. It says on its Windows that it's won awards for it beef and lamb but cannot comment on the meals.

We rented the house on the property and it was disgusting. Dirty and in poor repair. Based on this we would not eat in the restaurant. What is it like in the kitchen? Just look at the junk alll over the grounds beyond the parking lot.

Great view at the peak. The owner raised lamas in the farm and there was a two week old baby lama Wawa that was just soooo cute. The food was also very well prepared but unfortunately our schedule was bit tight and we didn't had the chance to really take our time and enjoy our meals.
