Adorable Property

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 9 Apr 2024via mobile
The staff from start to finish were fantastic. Very attentive. Very adorable property. Stayed in the new building. Very clean and quiet. Did not try the restaurant but did have the coffee in the AM which was great. Location within a block of Eat Street. Close to geyser park and government gardens and Lake Rotorua.

We spent three comfortable nights here. The room was a good size and nicely appointed. The bathroom was nice. The bed was quite comfortable. We had breakfast here two of the three mornings. The continental breakfast had many different choices. My only issue was sometimes they didn’t replenish things when they ran out (like the yogurt or cheese or butter) and so we had to ask for it to be replenished.
It was replaced right away but we should have had to ask.

But I would stay here again when I’m in town. Very close to the lake and Eat Streat.

Beds are tiny but rooms are spacious plus !! rooms are clean, decors and are stunning, Raj , duty manger opened the spa bath for us ; and after a huge day of 9 hours on the bus, that’s really super kind!! Location is great near to lake and Eat Street.

Room tip: Not sure of ample parking if you are doing a self drive. They have an amazing thermal spa bath!!

Short and sweet:staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms are BEAUTIFUL and obviously recently renovated. Restaurant meals excellent. Parking a bit of a challenge - tight and not too many spaces so had to park on the street which was no big deal.Would definitely stay here again

We celebrated the birthday of my wife which was indicated when making the reservation.
Dinner (tasting menu including wine pairing) was not bad at all although the wine pairing was quantitive minimal (three sips). Also servicing personnel was in a hurry.
When enjoying the main course, personnel started to preparing the table settings for breakfast already. And while dessert was used, the lady asked whether we wanted to have a doggybag while we still were eating(!).
A disappointing experience altogether.
