If you're looking for great venue for a light lunch with fresh ingredients then this trendy establishment is a good choice. Try the Blat sandwich - lettuce, bacon, tomato and avocado. Yum!! Also for sheer decadence add the Dream Coffee which is probably the best iced coffee in town. Service is efficient and friendly.

Came here for a no fuss breakfast on Saturday. The place is clean and tidy with some delicious display of pastry and tarts on the food cabinet.

We ordered a chai latte and trimmed flatwhite, a blueberry buttermilk pancake and eggs benedict. The breakfast is nice and fairly good portion. Some minor criticisms are that the fruit plated with the pancake still has peel and skin on, so may be difficult to eat with the pancake. Also the ice cream served if also less and a proper full portion.

Overall, the staff is friendly and the service was great. Still a nice place for a no fuss and good breakfast on the weekend.

A very nice cafe, excellent coffee, friendly staff, nice selection of food and well priced.

It has a seating area on the pavement, and a really nice deck/garden area out the back as well as the main inside cafe area.

I had to ask for my eggs to be heated as it they were stone cold. Kitchen should poach eggs to order instead of cooking in advance and reheating (or not reheating in my case). But the wait staff were quick to react and rectify.

Egg issue aside, it is a really good cafe.

We were up early and wanted something more substantial for breakfast before a day of Rotorua fun. The iSite recommended this cafe to us so we went. I had eggs on toast - the toast was sadly soggy from the water not drained off the eggs, but the bacon was good. My friend had mushrooms on toast, which were a bit bland, but he enjoyed his coffee. Location was awesome though as it was nice to start the day near the lake, which we wandered alongside after breakfast.
