Please come back and visit us, we love visitors coming over and over again! See you again one day soon. Thanks for the review Therese!
A 3 hour zip line tour through the canopy of a virgin forest. What could have been a terrifying experience quickly became a joyous romp along zip lines and narrow suspension bridges up to 22 meters above the forest floor. Our guides’ competence and attention to safety immediately put us at ease, but did nothing to dampen the thrill of flying through the trees. And to top it off we learned how the company’s conservation efforts are transforming the forest by reducing the invasive predators by 85%, funded by our admission fees.
Our guides are highly trained in making everyone feel at ease on tour so we are so happy to hear you enjoyed the experience. Thank you for coming on tour and taking the time to leave us a review.
We ventured out the 5 of us, three teenagers, my wife and I on the Ultimate canopy tour. We all thoroughly enjoyed being amongst some incredibly old trees and in the wilderness. The thrill of the zip lines, swinging bridges and the other adrenaline spiking activities were outstanding! Best of all was having Paul, Holly and Adam our tour guides keeping us all safe, with humour (Paul’s cheesy one lines stood out the most : ) )and reassurance, but always under control. In such a high threat environment, you three were outstanding! Thank you! You are all a credit to your Company. Oh... and what you’re all doing to bring back the birds by reducing the pests is also very impressive.
What an awesome family adventure! I will pass on your kind words to Paul, Holly and Adam, they really are spectacular guides. They will really appreciate the lovely comments. Thank you for the review and also for coming on tour and contributing to our conservation efforts in the forest.
This is a unique experience for the whole family. We spent a half day here doing the canopy tour and also hiking through the redwood forest. It would have been a blast to mountain bike, too. Very educational!
You definitely had a big day of enjoying the forest areas around Rotorua! Thank you for coming and visiting the native forest at Canopy Tours. Thanks for the review and maybe next time you can come back to Rotorua and give mountain biking a go and come back for a Canopy Tour!
This experience was amazing - perfect weather, cool companions on the tour but best of all amazing guides. I’m still not sure WHAT a bassie is but he sure knows how to create a memorable tour. He and Paul were knowledgeable, entertaining and really enhanced the whole experience. 10/10 team.
Thank you for the amazing review Jake! I will pass on to Bassie that you think he is a legend.
In short: expensive, but worth every cent of it. This was by far the most fun and impressive activity I did in 4 weeks NZ - and I'm even a bit of a vertigo kind of person. Best time ever with our great guides Anita and Matt!!
Thank you for the review, we are glad to hear you thought the experience was worth every cent! And thank you for coming on tour because if it wasn't for you we wouldn't be able to do the pest work we are doing in the forest. Wow, we are stocked to hear we were the most impressive activity you did in 4 weeks in NZ! Thank you so much!
