“Outstanding activity- a must-do in Rotorua”
Reviewed 6 days ago NEW via mobile

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Rotorua. Extremely high safety standards, knowledgeable and entertaining staff. Canopy tours is also a conservation project with some of the funds going into the native forest protection programs.
I would recommend this to anyone visiting Rotorua.
Yes, it's not cheap but it is way more than a fun-activity!

Simply excellent. I'm up for anything but my wife is nervous, and I can't praise the staff more for their care and concern for her fun. She did the whole course, which is quite a challenge. The zip wires are fast and safe. The staff excellent and the facilities second to none. Didn't think this is a gentle walk in the forest, it's a full on adventure, but a good one and we'll worth it!

“Brilliant. Do it. ”
Reviewed 1 week ago via mobile

This is a really terrific activity. On our trip the weather was pretty bad, very heavy rain from cyclone Cook; but everyone still had a great time. Our kids are 7 and 9 and they loved it. My wife is scared of heights and she loved it. I have seen the South Park episode about zip lining being boring and I loved it! The guides were great (Jesse, Josh & Gary). Even the nature information was great. This is almost the perfect activity. The only downside is the price; we paid NZ$508 for four people, but some of the money goes to help the forest and it is a small group activity, etc, etc. I wouldn't pay $508 to do it again but it was worth it for a one off.

“Enjoy the adrenalin high up in the lovely NZ rainforest and benefit native conservation too”
Reviewed 1 week ago

This was an excellent experience from many perspectives, the scenery was spectacular, the flying foxes huge fun, the guides (Jesse and Sylvester) very funny, friendly and absolutely professional at the same time, the business model superb where some of the profits are put back into conservation (pest eradication) with dedication and enthusiasm that is clearly sincere, and the organisation and attention to technical detail very impressive (eg iPad for everyone to provide details and confirm understanding). By the way, it was raining gently all the time, didn't affect our enjoyment. Truly world class.

“What a fun morning!”
Reviewed 1 week ago via mobile

We did this zip line/walk with Scott and Ariel. These guys had great rapport and , except for the quite serious safety briefing, were incredibly entertaining. There were also some educational aspects about flora, fauna and conservation in this native forest that has never been logged. I was anxious about the zip lines but they were so much fun you had to forget about fears and just enjoy the day. Well done!
