We were in Rotorua for one night and stayed in the nearby Regal Palms hotel. After not being able to find any restaurants in the vicinity we came here for dinner and then breakfast. The buffet was satisfactory and the dessert was excellent. Service was also very good; our waiter was very friendly and gave us some great advice for the rest of our road trip. Given the price point and location this was quite a satisfactory meal.

The buffet was not worth the money or the time to eat it.
The food was bland, overlooked in some instances, and just badly cooked in the case of the 'roast potatoes'.
Service was extremely slow.
Would of been better off going to a fast food restaurant.

We really enjoyed our meal. It was hot, it was tasteful and there was a good selection. Our puku's were full and it was not over priced! The staff were friendly and quick to clear the plates. Thank you all.

First visit forced to eat from dinner buffet, what an absolute disappointment, poor presentation, cold food, unappetising food. Couple with poor service, what a poor show for a tourist destination. Being asked if I wanted a drink while at the buffet, and then failing to check when I took a seat resulted in no drink.

A second visit due to a busy day, I chose the Chinese tasting plate, not a great deal better, green tea that wasn't, chicken and corn soup with no seasoning, chicken and peanut stirfry over seasoned, beef black bean was okay, steamed fish again under seasoned and in my opinion not fresh, steamed book choy overcooked, but the braised pork belly was fantastic. Followed by green tea ice cream and lychee, was okay but I assume bought in.

Wouldn't recommend, would even encourage avoiding.
