TL;DR, incredible place to stay. Clean modern rooms, great pillows, Sky TV, and a massive assortment of DVD’s in the lobby. The host (I forget her name sorry) is amazing, super kind and accomodating.
We stayed here for a week, and were incredibly comfortable the entire time, it’s a 3 minuet drive from the city center, they have a spa and massage Business on site aswel as massive spa baths in the rooms.
They have a fully stocked kitchenette with a jug, toaster and a Nespresso coffee machine with free coffee pods aswell as a microwave.
You get a carton of milk instead of those lame 5ml containers.
A bonus was the guest laundry room where you only have to pay a few bucks to use the dryer, the washing machine was free.
If we’re ever in Rotorua again we will legitimately not look anywhere else. Silver Fern has us locked in as guests if we’re ever in the area!

Four couples decided to have a short break away in Rotorua at the Silver Fern Accomodation and Spa. WOW! what a fantastic decision. The facilities were really fabulous with each suite having their own spa pool. The rooms were spotlessly clean and warm with really great room amenities which made it easy to mix and mingle before going out.
Our hosts Clint and Josephine gave us a super welcome .. the complimentary cookies was a nice touch.
Close to all the main attractions, and the city centre, the motel is ideally situated to all the award winning restaurants and cafes.
Rotorua golf club is a 3 min drive away which is great. The spa treatments at Silver Fern were enjoyed by all.
This facility is excellent, very well managed, spacious rooms with pleasant decor, and comfortable beds.
We would rate this motel excellent well worth a stay... we will be back.

Last minute decision to go for a spa treatment, very accommodating given we were not staying at this accommodation, but would be happy to consider next time we are in Rotorua.
My fiancée and i both had a massage. Top service, clean, tidy, and cosy warm.
Highly recommend. Will definitely return here the next time we are in Rotorua.

Pros - We stayed for a night and the guests were kind enough to upgrade us to a better bed configuration without a charge. They were prompt at responding for anything we needed. Rooms were clean Decor was pleasant. Outdoor spa is amazing to relax into after your day out in Rotorua
Cons - Staying downstairs means [walking] noise in the morning if someone is up before you. The shower heads need some looking into.
Overall - Recommend others to try this place!

We stayed in the sliver fern while in Rotorua for the Tarawera Ultra race and it couldn't have been more perfect. The bed was luxuriously comfortable the room was a good size with a park right outside. After the race, we enjoyed a wonderful full body massage a few steps walk from our room and a soak in our in-room spa . The room was exceptionally clean and we both agreed the shower was one of the best we had ever had in terms of pressure. The service at the front desk was friendly and efficient and we would definitely stay here again when we come back.
