Owner description: The experience of rolling down a hill inside a giant inflatable ball has been an iconic adventure experience since Andrew and David Akers developed the first operation in the world in Rotorua back in 1997. Rotorua remains the ONLY location in New Zealand where you can experience this amazingly fun and bizarre activity. With a new site just 5 minutes from the town centre with a hill that is almost twice as long, you can ride with 1, 2 or 3 people inside the same H2OGO (with warm water in winter or cool water in summer),race against your friends, or try the Harness OGO where you are securely strapped in and sent rolling head over heels through the trees down our custom designed harness track.OR … try our BRAND NEW ride; THE FISHPIPE!A new and unique type of water ride where you slide for over 600 metres! Further than the longest water-slide in the world!Up to 3 riders, 75 litres (20 gallons) of water and a barrel that spins at up to 45 revolutions per minute (although we can slow it right down for the kids and those of you with nervous dispositions.)If you’re riding solo, you can slide, try to run inside, or even try surfing on your feet. With 2 or 3 riders inside you slip and slide together in a tangled mess ... backwards, sideways, frontwards, upside-downwards and whose-foot-is-that-in-my-mouthwards.Open 364 days from 9:00 to 5:00pm in all weather conditions, do not miss out on this unique New Zealand invention. No bookings necessary.

A bit pricey but by far one of our favourite activities from our trip. The zorbing itself was great fun, made even better by the beautiful surroundings. You're allowed to take in your own camera for free, which is definitely worth it - the video we have from our go pro is hilarious. The location is also a great place to hang out, with free beanbags and jacuzzi's overlooking the wonderful view - it was nice to be able to take our time and not feel rushed through like you sometimes get in other activities.

If you haven't tried it before, I would definitely recommend it.

I had no idea what to expect, but it was awesome. It was so much more fun then we ever imagined. We laughed so hard and long our stomachs hurt. It is a definite must do. We tell everyone we meet in New Zealand to go and do it. The hot tubs and warm water in the balls make it so comfortable. The facility is so clean and all the staff are so nice. If you love to laugh, have fun and an adventure go here. You can only zorb in Rotorua.

We found a coupon through bookme to go zorbing here. It was an awesome experience, a must do in the area! The staff were super friendly and made the experience even better. The hot tub at the end was a major plus! Thanks OGO!

Our 15 yr old and 11 yr old girls loved this! My husband and I loved it too! We went on a somewhat rainy Monday and there was no waiting and no lines. Super clean facility and really nice staff.

I highly recommend this activity especially for kids, teens and young adults. I just did the Sidewinder Ogo but it was the best experience! The staff were all excellent as well. I went in with a friend you can have 2 people in the Sidewinder and up to 3 if you do the straight course. My friend and I just laughed the whole time it's just so much fun. They provide spa tubs both up on top of the hill and down the bottom where you finish so you can warm up again although the water in the Ogo wasn't really cold it was just a good way to wait around. Can't wait to do this again one day! :)
