We stayed 3 nights in Austria Motel. The owners are very friendly people. The room was big and comfy, but a bit old and not to clean. We had to kill some big spiders and had to remove several spider webs from the ceiling. Yes, it was the time of the year for spiders. I talked to the owner and she promised to spray the room at a moment that no guests were staying in it.. It was nice to have a small balcony with table and chairs. Location is excellent, very close to the harbour, the busstop, a supermarket and restaurants. We even walked from the motel to the Haruru falls. We took pictures of plants and birds that we did not know, and the owner told us the names and showed us more pictures on the internet and that was nice.

Anne and Reid were awesome. Talked with them many times really enjoyed their perspective. Place was clean, quiet, had TV, kitchen and was always stalked with coffee. Very close to water and other attractions.

Unit was very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Beds were comfortable. Included a kitchen with a small fridge and stove. Great location, close to ferry, bus station, shops, grocery store and restaurants. Owner was very helpful in planning excursions.
