So pleased we booked how stay at Edelweiss Motel, friendly and knowledgeable owner with sound advise. Clean and modern room including sky TV. Nice well appointed kitchen. Heated swimming pool & spa pool. Secure car parking within easy reach of your accomadtion. Easy flat walk into the town. Very enjoyable stay.
We stayed two nights at the Edelweiss Motel, I can’t express how pleased I was when I walked into our room and it was spotlessly clean and had a lovely fresh fragrance. The staff at the check in desk were excellent to deal with, and while this isn’t the newest motel in Paihia I would go back and stay again. The pool was clean and didn’t smell of chlorine and the water temp was good for the time of year.
Awesome place to stay excellent hosts very quiet and beautiful warm pool highly recommend staying here and good value, walking distance to town.

This motel is located very close to the beach and great access to the highway. We booked into a 2 bedroom unit. It is adequate, clean and very tidy. The owners were also very friendly and nice.
The only critic from me is the not so great WiFi connection. I understand there is still a lack of ultra fast broadband in Paihia, so just something other visitors to be mindful of and be prepared for.
My friend and I stayed here for one night on a girl’s trip away, the room was clean and ready for us when we arrived and we received very prompt and friendly service from Jo and her husband. She was nice to talk to and very helpful with our requests. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to stay close to the main Centre of Paihia with great service!
