We were on a ground floor suite, right at the front, which meant we didn't have any issues with being overlooked - and we could nip out to the pool in a trice!
Comfy, modern, clean...the studios are very well appointed, with all you need to make a very relaxing stay. Tea, coffee, milk all provided and even handy little extras like mini sachets of washing powder should you need to do a launder.
The staff were great, super cheery and helpful...a delight really.
Breakfast available just across the road, overlooking the sea...boat trips on just minutes away and loads of eateries. Truth be known, we didn't really want to leave!

The suite had everything we needed for our stay in fact we could have lived here. Good kitchen facilities, dining area, lounge with tv and balcony with a sea view even though we were at the back of the hotel. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms , one with bath and one with shower and our bed was very comfortable
Parking access in basement using card key worked well and there are different lifts for each part of the building There is a small sweet mint pool
Walk out, turn right and there are cafes, restaurants and bars and a small supermarket
We loved the accommodation, its location and its facilities and can highly recommend

The only disadvantage of an apartment is your noisy neighbours but after being asked by a couple of people to quieten down the young noisy couple did .

Booked the hotel for a relaxing start to get over jet lag. The rooms were very good, excellent air con, kitchen and large lounge area. The pool is not large and the layout means that you don't have a view of the beach on the ground floor and it is not as private as some would prefer. However, the resort and beaches are a few steps away, so it didn't worry us.

Room Tip: if you want to step out to the pool from our room have the ground floor, if you want a view, ask for the higher floors

A nice hotel in a good location in Paihia. Our suite was well finished with good quality appliances and catering equipment. The teas/coffees (including a plunge coffee) milk, sugars were repenished everday. All the suites appear to have a bay view and have balconies or patio area on the ground floor. A few minor points, our suite was on the third floor, however the lift from the basement carpark stopped at the first floor. Meaning, carrying heavy bags up two flights of stairs. One really annoying point was on arrival there was an ashtray on the balony table full of cigarette ends. As a point of principle I put it to the side and told reception next morning. The next evening it was still there full of cigarette ends. A black mark for housekeeping and reception. I have given three stars for room cleanliness, if the cigarettes had been dealt with on the next day it would have been four stars.

Room Tip: Check your room has lift access.

This is the first negative review I’ve ever written. Waterfront suites units were clean, updated and comfortable. My disappointment? We had absolutely no view whatsoever. We couldn’t even leave the curtains open because people walked by our bedroom and could see in. But back to view, not even a sliver. I had been looking forward to sitting on our balcony. We didn’t have one, we were on the ground floor. Looking out at bay of islands. We could have been in Newark New Jersey. My mistake. Make sure you don’t get a first floor unit, for sure. I don’t know if all rooms on higher floors have views but it looks like many do
