Was in town for two nights on business (tour guide), check in was super friendly, initial impressions of the room were what i was looking for, a nice comfy bed, a TV and a shower (when you stay in hotels all the time you really don't need nor want to pay for fancy things you don't need or will not use)
The cooking facilities in room were quite limited, a microwave and a few basic utensils - but hey, there was enough to reheat a pre cooked meal from the supermarket
The bed was super comfortable, maybe a little on the soft side but the pillows were bang on, im a little bit of a pillow freak and this place is awesome.
The shower did leave a lot to be desired, it was barely a trickle and for someone who love a high pressure shower this is a very big no no, the hot water (or lack of it) was a real fustration, it seemed to take 5 minutes to run hot and then it was gone in less than 60 seconds :(
Over all i was happy with the hotel, its on the budget side bit that was what i wanted and i on my return to Paihia i will def consider this hotel again
Thanks to the staff who were all top notch.More
