We both had the best (longest ) sleep we have had for a long time. Bed was warm and very comfortable. Good airflow through back and front door kept the unit cool,all amenities were in good working order, car parking was virtually outside the unit. Laminated information sheets answered our questions and the community services were helpful.

I am aware you get what you pay for and the place was clean but some serious maintenance required, Broken light switches, only some lights working, broken cupboard doors in the kitchen and not nearly enough ammenities for “self contained “.
The owner lectured my wife over a noise complaint from downstairs from 6am and 6 pm how ridiculous that’s when people are doing things in their rooms! Don’t waste your money on this tired motel.

Good staff, helpful and friendly. Good sized unit. Location in town good, handy to shops and wharf. Northly facing unit, chair and table outside. Customer service was the highlight of this stay, obliging, good local advice and knowledge.

Great location in the bay of islands, great value accommodation with great friendly staff, Pahia is the best place to stay in the Bay of Islands.various room sizes with larger family size rooms.wished we could have stayed longer is this beautiful area

We spent a week here, using it to explore the area. When we booked in, The manager Bob was extremely helpful particularly in regard to tours and local information. The room is is a good size with a comfortable lounge and chair and a coffee table. There is a table and 2 chairs and a kitchenette with sink, fridge the usual crockery and cutlery and 2 glass hot plates. The king size be is comfortable with 2 decent pillows. There is a shower & toilet and a sink in the hall outside the shower. There is good storage space. The place was clean. We had a ground floor unit and there was a bit of noise from upstairs units, possibly due to poor insulation between the two. It was a short walk to the shops and restaurants as well as the ferry terminal.
