Lovely apartment in a beautiful location. It had everything we needed: a small kitchen area with cooker and dishwasher, a huge bed at the rear of the building, plenty of storage space, a hairdryer, iron, tv, a balcony with views over the Bay of Islands, plenty of comfortable seating and dining area. Room was cleaned well every day. Delicious breakfast served in the Glasshouse every morning.
The hotel is pretty shabby and a few things did not work - fan in bathroom. Not at all good value for money - extra $45 for late checkout. Inclusive breakfast $30, same price at most expensive dish on menue, so at best a 'free' drink! Spa great but would not recommend this hotel if you want quality and value.
Lovely relaxing spot handy to everything. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. Beautiful clean salt pool and lovely beach across the road. Room was serviced regularly and staff were friendly. Would definitely return for another holiday stay.

This is a great place to spend a few days. Paihia beach is a nice resort, and we also enjoyed visiting Russell, which is a very short ferry ride away. The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. Our suite had a great view over the bay. Thoroughly recommended

Beautiful location but hotel feels like a 3 star at best. Quite dated and probably needs a lot spent on it to bring it up to a decent 5-star standard. Great location and nice pools though. Has potential. Definitely incomparable to the nice hotels of Queenstown and Auckland etc, so temper your expectations.
