We used to stay at Bayview regularly and haven’t been to Paihia in a while.
Particularly like the central location and safe undercover parking for motorcycles.
Graham is a delightful host.

We used to stay in the 3bdrm unit with other couples and Graham recommended the studio beach view Unit 8 for the two of us – well worth the paying the extra for the view! We enjoyed it so much that ended up bringing takeaways home to eat.

Well-appointed unit with full cooking facilities – even an oven if you feel so inclined. BBQ right outside on the deck along with lounger chairs.

Good value motel. Comfortable and has everything you need.

Apparently, there are specials during the off-season if you are up that way.

Don’t miss a boat trip to Russell. Paihia has great eating places and handy supermarkets.

Stayed here for 3 days in January. Excellent facilities. Friendly staff and owner. Helpful. Awesome location. Beds were comfortable the room was roomy and everything you needed was there. Lovely place to stay

My girlfriend and I stayed for 1 night in a ground floor, 1 bed apartment with ocean views. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation as the apartment was much nicer than the photos on the website. The apartment was nice and clean. The beds were nice and comfortable and we were especially grateful for the electric blankets as it was a chilly night. The linen was all of a high standard.
This motel is pet friendly and the owner made us and the 2 dogs very welcome, even giving us a late check out.
The motel is in an awesome location with everything you need within easy walking distance. Highly recommend for budget travelers
