Well, where do I start, we had such a pleastant stay, a nice young chap checked us in and I must say he was extremely helpful. Our room, well I should say cabin, was quaint and delightful for what we paid, a lovely view and we especially enjoyed the mini veranda. The kitchenette suited our needs perfectly and the ceiling fan was a life saver. We met the owners who were delightful people, the location, simply fabulous, so close to the main dock and a gateway to Russel. In short ten out of ten I would highly reccomend these pretty little cabins, well I am. Such a fantastic place to visit is Paihia that these cabinz simply enhanced our experience.

Ken & Ali were extremely friendly and hospitable and our 4 night stay was a perfect start to our 3 week tour of the north island. Our cabin had a clear view of the bay, from the kitchen, bed or deck and what a wonderful way to start the day. Comfortable, clean and perfectly positioned in town to wander the streets, to the shops in town or just having a stroll. We took full advantage of the book exchange before heading off again on our travels. The cabins are definitely designed for couples or 3 adults, rather than families with small children, due to being built on the side of a hill and lots of steps.

We stayed in one of the cabins here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The unit itself was extremely clean, spacious, well-equipped and practical in its layout. It was SO easy for us to be comfortable there. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a very relaxed vibe. We were able to walk everywhere in town from our cabin, which was a pleasure. We highly recommend Bay Cabinz and would love to come back and visit again!
