Quiet motel with plenty of space and an amazing view to boot. Perfect for a budget conscious family with teens who need a reasonably sized space with separate bedrooms and living area. As a bonus we were able to bring our fur baby (medium sized dog) with us for no additional charge and he was allowed inside with us - much cheaper than an Air B&B or Bachcare. Shelagh and Norm were so accommodating, friendly and kind. The weather was a bit miserable unfortunately, so we made plenty of use of the free DVD library and the heated pool. The motel is a little dated in its decor perhaps (if you care about that kind of thing) but it is spotlessly clean with lovely hosts. Very handy to the Phat House Brewery that has yummy pizza and is also dog friendly.

A really lovely place to stay. A very comfortable room with all necessary facilities, fantastic views, and Norm and Shelagh could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended: we'd love to return.

We came back a second time for the stunning views and the pool - and again, Cook’s Lookout did not disappoint.

Shelagh and Norm were so welcoming and helpful, which was the icing on the cake of a very enjoyable five days at Cook’s Lookout.

We would most definitely come back.
