Magnificent views over the Bay. 5-minute drive from Paihia, near Haruru Falls. Very quiet. The hosts are very knowledgeable and welcoming. Equipped kitchenette in room, separate guest laundry. Looking forward to our next visit.

The BEST view. Warm and dry. Spacious! And a Pool ! More like a bach than a motel room. Everything we needed, comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen. Hosts Norm and Sheila are so welcoming and have all the Local knowledge: Paihia fish and chips - next to the Post Office- the best in town: succulent fish, crispy batter, generous portions! And childhood memories come flooding back with homemade Eccles cakes from Breeze cafe.

From the moment we set foot on the property we instantly felt welcomed by Norm and Shelagh and we felt like we had been transported to a motel from our childhood.... we loved a jug of milk provided upon arrival. There isn't anything flashy about this motel, but they aren't trying to be. In Reception there is a plethora of DVDs to borrow, which was a highlight for the kids! Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious and provided everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The pool was absolutely amazing and the kids loved jumping on the trampoline and then playing in the water. It was family friendly, and our hosts entertained our childrens' curiousities and questions. We loved using the BBQ and the kitchen was great for cooking our own meals. If you're looking for a quaint, quiet spot with incredible views of Paihia and Russell, then this is the place for you!
Room tip: All of the rooms were private and had beautiful views.

A spacious 2 bedroom suite that had a fabulous view. It was very clean and the couple who own it were both very delightful and helpful. We booked for one night and ended up staying 2 nights. The beds were comfortable and there was a great shower and an outside deck that overlooks Paihai.

Very welcoming and good situated motel! The owners Sheila and Norm are very nice people and we had some nice chats! Sheila gave us some good tips where to eat and go sightseeing ! If you’re looking for a tranquil motel with a good view, spacious rooms, try this hidden germ!

This motel is at its use by date. In bad need of maintenance, in fact I had to do some work myself to make the shower usable and tie back a trellis screen that was swinging around in the wind noisily.On the plus side the view from the unit was exceptional and the proprietors were very nice.
