Description: Third Wheel Vending is a small, cosy cafe tucked away in Paihia serving up specialty coffee and home baked goods. With a focus on delicious brews of Flight Coffee (roasted in Wellington), Third Wheel is fitted out for relaxing and catching up coffeehouse style. You'll find it down the lane next to the Swordfish Club, a stone's throw from the main street of Paihia and the beautiful waterfront. Owners Tom and Emma have blended their passion for quality coffee with another passion - bicycles. You'll see the counter tops of Third Wheel are indeed set up on tricycles (the cafe's namesake).

Best Coffee in Northland

Probably the best coffee and barista in Northland. Run by really nice people who take great pride in their work. Great savory selection food beautiful sweet cakes and muffins. Definitely try it out if you are in the area looking for brunch or lunch.

Lovely cafe down the alley

Such a lovely cafe tucked down an alley. The staff are really friendly and great coffee. Savoury muffin was really nice too. Has nice casual seating outside with cushions to make it comfy.

Awesome

Great vegetarian food, big selection, something for everyone. Everything tasty and fresh. Great service. Best coffee. I am not vegetarian but loved this cafe.

Great coffee and great food

We went with high expectations and we weren't disappointed. Best coffee in Paihia by.a million miles. The food was all freshly baked and delicious.

We were just disappointed that they were closed on Sunday morning

Best coffee in Paihia, great cabinet food too!

Best cafe in Paihia.
Best coffee - flight coffee.
Really good selection of cabinet food, vegetarian and vegan friendly
