We had a thoroughly enjoyable day tour with Gareth as our guide. Everyone we spoke to thought he was a super guide who kept us highly entertained whilst giving us interesting historical and current information on what we were experiencing. Jill was our travel guide at the Bay of Islands. She is very friendly, knowledgeable , and efficient with our use of time on the tour. She showed us many beautiful spots and lots of great picture ops. She answered all of our questions but also made the trip lots of fun with her sense of humor. This was a great tour. Gareth was very knowledgeable. Saw everything that we were meant to. The pies at the bakery were great and that's coming from a fussy Aussie pie eater. The chocolates were quite expensive, so didn't get any. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would recommend.
I was a solo traveler and a little unsure of the ' routine' when going ashore via the tender, I was met by Gareth and relaxed immediately. It was a very interesting tour, Gareth was knowledgeable and helpful. I never felt rushed or tied to time as with some tours. The glo worms were the stars for me. Thank you to all. From a UK visitor.
