Thank you for your review. I will let everyone know that you enjoyed yourselves.
It was raining and we wanted something indoor that we could see so the information centre recommended we take a visit to Silky Oak for a look. We had breakfast here and hot chocolates, there's a Cafe a chocolate gift shop, a pantry and a museum. Amazing chocolates loved them. Great find great time filler for us loved this place
Thank you for your lovely review. We hope you visit again, raining or not.
I have visited this cafe on several occasions and it never disappoints me.
The food is amazing. I had the aranicini with salad and on another occasion I had the chorizo luigine...yummy. The food is beautifully presented and the relish and vinaigrette are so tasty, that I popped across to their Pantry shop to purchase both. There is also a lovely souvenir shop next to the cafe. A great place to bring holiday visitors so they too can enjoy the cafe experience and most importantly purchase some exquisite chocolates to take back home.
Definitely will be back in the future.
Thank you for your lovely review.
We really appreciate you taking the time to write one. I will let the staff know, I am sure they will appreciate your comments. We all try very hard to ensure everything we do is the best, including our customer service.
Visited with a friend for lunch on a busy Sunday. Service was not super friendly but was very efficient. Seemed a bit light on floor staff. Garlic mushroom was a large serving size but had alot of oil / butter but was very pleasant. Friend had a stuffed potato and was also too much oil for her. Coffee was nice.
Nice covered area out the side for a colder wintry day.
Thank you for your review.
What a great place to have lunch (or breakfast). Tasty food and coffee. The service was efficient and friendly. We would definitely return to this café if we lived in Napier. Tourists would be very happy here as not only is there the café but there is a chocolate shop selling lots of chocolate and fudge. As well, a shop selling clothing, jewellery, NZ products etc. Plus there is a Museum to look through (I think there is a charge). I recommend this place.
Thank you for your lovely review. We always try to excel in all that we do.
We are really pleased you enjoyed yourselves, and hope to see you again
Lamb burger was huge and delicious. There is no way to attack it without a knife and fork. Service was gracious! Highly recommend silky oak chocolates!
