This location is a great stopover - clean, tidy, and fantastic views. Top class motel - only 5 mins taxi in to town - nice beds and pillows - TV, jacuzzi, car parking.
Best stop in two weeks on the road- so far.
Happy to recommend 👌

These rooms have got a nice outlook over the park to the sea. I’m not sure they are luxury from my point of view. The bed really needed to be replaced with a mattress that wasn’t sloping and saggy.

My main issue was the housekeeping service. We decided to stay in a serviced motel rather than air bnb type place because of the daily room servicing so we felt like we were really having a restful holiday. Most times the room servicing was done late in the day and was only a change of towels. We went for three days without our rubbish being emptied, no tea towel, and the bed wasn’t made, until we asked on the fourth day for a full room service then the whole room was cleaned and vacuumed and the sheets changed in the morning while we were out.

If you don’t mind housekeeping inconsistencies, then it’s a nice place to stay.

Room tip: Rooms with a verandah have a nice view over the park and sea.

Just finished a great 2 nights here.

We originally booked here in March 2020, but had to cancel due to COVID lockdown. The hotel cancelled our booking without any charges, so we rebooked in return for their understanding.

Excellent motel. We had room 18 … on level 2 with great views over the beach. Rooms are very spacious, very clean and comfortable. Very big bathroom and a large balcony with table & 2 chairs.

Very close to Napier business centre … 10 min walk or 3 min drive ….parking is all metered, so easier & cheaper to walk. Hotel has plenty of parking on site. We had dinner & breakfast at Curves restaurant. It’s in The Scenic Hotel at 45 Marine Parade ( opposite the War Memorial ) …. Plenty of parking out the back of the hotel … off Browning St. a 3 minute drive from Pebble Beach Motel … 10 - 15 minute walk.

Also has a guest laundry …. Detergent supplied, pay for washing ( 2 x $2 coins ) and pay for drying ( 3x $2 coins ).

Give. Burtons Restaurant, in the Nautilus Hotel …. 3 min walk down Marine Pde…. a miss. Very poor quality food, plus despite the sign on the street saying “open for breakfast “, they’re not …. Only for hotel guests. The Curve is way better quality & value for money.

Location was great but premise wasn't flash.
Carpet was literally pulling up from the tacs which were unpleasant to walk on.
Very noisy
Beds weren't super comfortable
Dark room
Flickering lights and multiple lightbulbs needed replacing
Water was so hot you would burn your hands
Room smelt unpleasant and hidden by OTT sprays

One of the nicest motels I have stayed at in recent years. I stayed in a family room as that is all that was available and there was ample room - I could definitely see myself staying again with wife and two kids. Having proper milk and tasty coffee for my morning is one of the things that makes a big difference for me (as I hate those little milk pods with a passion) so thank you for the real milk and local coffee.

Everything was fresh, clean and spacious. The location right across from the aquarium is great and easy walk into town as well.

Highly recommend for families, couples or solo.

Great location lovely balcony overlooking Marine Parade and the beach. The staff are very friendly and the suite was very clean.
However the kitchen faucet was loose and rattled , the toilet seat was not fixed properly and the two single beds were extremely uncomfortable and gave my partner bad backache for two days. There were no wardrobes in the two bed room. The location of the kitchen down the passageway was silly and the amount of space taken by the spa bath was ridiculous probably a 15% of the total floorspace. Probably hard to fix unless it was a total redesign of the suite which is probably over due
