The hotel is clean modern and very close to city centre so this is all positive. Parking however is stressful. First two nights I was able to park in the relatively secure handful of spaces behind the hotel. However when full, I asked at reception if I could park in the hotel allocated ones in the public one down the road, I was told that the hotel has to pay for it so I would have to park there from now on. I stressed that I felt the car was not so secure there so if Possible I would rather take any spaces at the hotel. I ended up having to walk away from the conversation with the receptionist who was making it difficult. I would really suggest if you can find a hotel just a little further out with guaranteed parking, it would be a lot less stressful for you. Sort of ruined the break away, which was a shame. Previous staff at the hotel had been very helpful.

This is a fantastic hot in the centre of Napier. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms good size, clean and very comfortable. Our room had a balcony which was lovely to sit out and have a coffee watching the sun go down.

The parking situation in Napier is tricky in general. While the hotel has spaces for guests in a car park across the road, spaces only come available in the evening
