Wonderful, kind, caring and amazing hosts! Wendy & Peter are a wealth of knowledge and were so helpful with tips and advice for when I went cycling - on Wendy's bike! :-) Comfortable and spacious rooms, private, so tidy and clean. Such a generous touch to have a wine and chat in the evening - it was like staying with friends. The town and seafront is only 15 mins walk - so great location. I will definitely stay again :-)

Room Tip: There are only 2 rooms - both the same I would say. Very quiet place to stay.

We're really pleased when guests take advantage of the use of our bikes as it's a fabulous way to explore the area. Hawke's Bay now have over 200kms of flat and amazing cyclepaths taking people near cafes, wineries and even a country pub!! Thank you for your super comments and positive feedback. We do appreciate it and it gives future visitors to Napier an insight to what they can expect!!. Best wishes and it was an delight to have you stay. Wendy and Pete

Another lovely time staying with Wendy and Peter at their lovely B&B near the centre of Napier. Fabulous breakfast and tidy and well presented rooms with spacious en suites. Plenty of parking. Lovely pool area and terrace to sit out. Wine and a chat before dinner. Such a lovely place and great hosts. Well worth visiting again

It really is wonderful to see guests, as you did, get out and experience the beautiful wine produced in Hawke's Bay and to appreciate the amazing food served at so many of the local restaurants and wineries in the region. An all around excellent experience. Peter and Wendy were perfect hosts. We took advantage of their offer of a home cooked dinner and were treated to perfectly prepared blue cod. The room was impeccable. Just a great way to relax after a day of touring.

When the hosts are kind and helpful it is always difficult to be negative.Wendy and Peter are lovely folks who gave their all. However this is a house not in walking distance of town with busy traffic outside. It is a residential area just on the edge of town.Wendy did recommend Prinsy'so wine tours which was fabulous.Unfortunately the sea beckoned and we wish we had been closer.Could be quite warm in the summer....
Wendy and Peter offered wine and snacks on the first night, encouraging the other guests and us to mingle.
Just did not feel quite private. The rooms do not really lock from the outside and the windows are right by the front entrance.
Lovely people but......

Wendy and Peter were perfect hosts. Rooms were immaculate, tasteful decor and well provisioned. Everywhere was very clean. Pool available - weather permitting. Great space to sit on the decking out back. Tea and coffee available 24/7 together with delicious home cooked cookies from central place in the hall.Peter's breakfast is highly recommended he is an excellent chef and the food is delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for these excellent hosts. Lovely window seats to relax in. We really felt it was home from home. Easy walk into town. Lots of tips and advice on things to do and places to see. Quiet location. Wendy and Peter took the time and trouble to have a glass of wine and canapes with us on our first night to get to know us and what we wanted to do so as to be able to advise us better. Highly recommend this excellent place if you are staying in Napier.
