These gardens are on a very steep slope. It was a pleasant enough stroll if you're reasonably fit, but not actually a lot to see/

If you are a visitor, Tiffen Park offers some nice views of the town and some exercise.

If you are a local, it is a nice way of getting to the top of the hill on a hot day.

This park is on the side of a hill which makes for an interesting and gloomy climb up the side of the hill. It did not appeal to me but it may to you. If you were elderly, unfit or disabled in any way this is not the park for you. The dirt tracks will be slippery after weather and we had had rain which did not make it a pleasant adventure.

It did seem to be a strange yet steep park on the side of a hill. Sadly we visited it on a grey and dismal day. However, on a sunny and clear day the views from different stages of the climb to the top and from the top of the park would be spectacular.

If you're into checking out every single park in a town, then of course you have to visit Tiffen Park! The entrance is right by the Municipal Theatre and probably the best part about the park is the gorgeous art deco entranceway framing it. Very pretty! The park itself is completely on a steep hillside, with little trails going parallel along it. Not elderly or disabled proof as it can be quite steep with steps. Very shady and lovely plants - natural dirt trails. Could probably get quite muddy in winter, so would leave to summer weather. Sandwiched between some houses above and the town below, rather odd place, but I still like it. It's quirky!
