As a family with a young child, our stay at this motel left us with mixed feelings. What we didn't realize upon booking was that this establishment was currently being used for emergency accommodation, a fact that was not disclosed anywhere. This knowledge might have affected our decision to stay here, especially considering the impact it had on our experience.
Firstly, our room was located on the third floor, which caused us considerable anxiety with a two-year-old in tow. The lack of information regarding the current use of the hotel made this aspect particularly unsettling. Additionally, the narrow hallway and odd placement of windows and vents contributed to a somewhat claustrophobic atmosphere.
The shower experience was less than ideal, with very low water pressure, making it difficult to shower comfortably. This was disappointing, especially after a long journey. However, we must commend the host for their helpfulness. They proactively called us to inquire about our arrival time and left the key out for us as the office was closing, which was a thoughtful gesture.
Overall, the room was clean, albeit with an odd layout. While the stay wasn't terrible, the lack of transparency regarding the hotel's current use and the inconveniences we encountered make it difficult for us to recommend this establishment for families, especially those with young children.
