Booked this motel for 3 main reasons....close to resturaunts/town, view and previous reviews.
Unfortunately the reviews since I booked in August gave me the shudders and again, unfortunately, were pretty accurate. The bad bits, see photos....bad mould on shower door, tiles missing in bathroom, fan in bathroom missing...replaced by very dirty light, dirty/holed curtains, carpet tacks poking through carpet....
The good bits....when I raised issue about carpet tack rail poking through carpet and mouldy shower... They fixed and cleaned. It should never have got to this and obviously the management of cleaning etc. is poor. This the only reason I gave a. 2star rather than 1. I understand that "ownership" may have changed recently...lets hope this is teething problems and not a group of owners thinking they have a "cash cow".

We stayed in the Family 2 bedroom apartment with an ocean view. This room is a very well maintained and tidy place. The bathroom is very spacious and the spa bath is amazing! Their was good amount of seating and it had a very nice view. In the 2nd bedroom a blind was missing, its not a window that goes outside but still got light comimg in. It wasn't to bad of a deal because it had hooks and was easily fixed by a towel. The service was excellent. Awesome location; close to shops, attractions and the beach. We would reccomend this place.

The motel room was clean and functional but a bit tired looking. The location is great. Really central and an easy walk to town. The view over the beach is lovely. Unfortunately the large metal staircases make a lot of noise when kids run up and down them. Especially when dragging their scooters up and down. This made it impossible to rest and relax as kids were often running up and down.
