The 2 bed villa is a beautiful example of a restoration and is lovely, however it doesnt have any parking and the off street parking is 120m max. While checking later I see that the website doesnt identify parking, however it does clearly state that the room isnt serviced daily, so how about making this clear as well. On our final night our car got coined on the street parking we found so recommend any guest park at the motel and walk the 500m.

Room tip: Park at the motel and walk

We had a 3rd floor, ocean view room. It was a very good unit. Plenty of room with a small deck looking out over the water. There are plenty of places to eat close by, and we recommend going to "Lick this" just up the road. There was a spa bath and a good supply of towels.

Stayed 3 nights. Not impressed. Clean but very shabby room. We had a balcony room on second floor but couldn’t sit on balcony as the traffic noise was horrendous. Many, many HGV thundering down Marine Parade all times of the day and night.
The bed smelled musty; the mattress was obviously very old.
Definitely would not recommend for those who are expecting a comfortable, quiet break away from it all.
So disappointing as our first visit to Napier.

We walked in off the street needing a 2 bedroom room, but a 1 bedroom would have done as we were exhausted after a long trip on our motorbikes. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We were given the last 2 bedroom suite at nearly half the price and offered to have our bikes put in the owners garage to keep them safe. We were so relieved as this was the first place we'd tried on our "winging it" holiday. Yes it's a bit outdated, but cleanliness and comfort of the beds is paramount in our book plus the added extra of a beautiful view. We had one of the best sleeps on our whole trip here. Very handy to eateries as having bikes we had to walk. We'd definitely stay again.

My wife and I and our two daughters spent 1 night at the Shoreline Motel.
The accommodation was extremely spacious and clean and consisted of 2 separate bedrooms, one with 2 single beds and the other with a large king bed, all of which were extremely comfortable.
Although the bathroom was adequate, it would have been preferable to have a walk-in shower and not a shower in the bath. The large open plan lounge and kitchenette was however very pleasant and convenient.
Our room was across the street from Napier beach and had a lovely view.
Overall, we had a very good 1 night stay and as the Motel is located on Napier’s promenade and only a few minutes’ walk from Napier town, we were able to experience an enjoyable scenic walk, as well as an interesting self-guided Art Deco walk in the limited time that we had.
