My husband and I stayed here with our family (in a separate - and family - unit) for 3 nights in December. We had booked an executive studio which the website promised would have a satinjet over spa bath but on arrival discovered we had been given a studio fitted out for wheelchair accommodation and certainly without the spa option (which we had wanted for the grandchildren to be able to enjoy). We had not been advised of this change and feel this was unacceptable.

I booked in March 2017 for a large group to stay in November for a reunion. Was given the room rates but was not informed that Motel ownership changed later in March and prices were increased. I was very annoyed when asked to pay for our unit on arrival that it was more than quoted as were most of the other guests, there were 23 of us staying. Some of the guests had an email from the previous owners with their cost so that is what they paid the rest of us did manage a small discount. I think this is a warning when you book get the amount in writing and be aware you will be asked to pay on arrival. We had hoped to have had a barbecue one of the three nights but on inspection of the barbecue there was no way we would consider using it. Thought it would have been cleaned as I reported the state of it when we first arrived, nothing was done.
On the plus side our unit with the ocean view was spacious and clean and the house keeping ladies were great. Those guests who used the pool were quite satisfied.

Not impressed at all. I am nit in the habit of writing negative revues but this motel was pretty disappointing. Booked twin bedroom option. Pretty shabby nothing like photos on website.
No cooking pot (had fry pan but no pot) in kitchen even when room had cooking set up. And when asked for a pot was told no you use what is there and thats it. Couldnt believe her answer. Then, left a book behind my mistake, and phoned to see it it was there. Yes it was. Dont we fill in phone details at checking in so moteliers can contact you when they notice left behind items...not at this motel! So politely asked if we could send a prepaid pre addressed envelope to the motel to have book posted back...wait for it...No! Unbelievable. So asked again, after some murmerings they offered an option that if we waited a week, some other staff member would be there to do it!? A week??? Obviously needed training in putting a book in the postbox???
Unit was very very average. Master bedroom was so tight that you couldnt put suitcase anywhere (no shelf or stand) only option is to put it on floor which blocks the tight walkway around bed.
Three TVs though which is good....lounge, plus bedrooms.
But seriously look for a better option next time...Palm City Motor Court, Bellavue, Acorn... plenty of better options that I have stayed at and where customer service is a priority and a given happily.
