We were not given the unit that we had booked and paid for some time prior. The motel was full so had to wait until next day to change units which was inconvenient but the reason given seemed to be valid. The second unit was not as well presented as the first. The shower was very dated and the front drapes, the first thing that is seen on arrival were very poorly hung and appear to have come from elsewhere as they were far too long. No can opener. Both units were very clean and well serviced. The hot water in the unit was way hotter than approved safe limits...so thankful that our grandchildren were NOT with us.

my husband, myself and our 10 month old baby stayed her on a Saturday night. The room was dated but clean and had a very comfortable bed with an electric blanket. Shower was lovely and hot with good pressure. This is one of the very few motels that offers a free portacot. When we got to our room late on the night of arrival they had made the cot up for us and turned on the heater in the room that it was in. Would definately stay here again. Reception staff were extremely friendly

We travel regularly to Hamilton to visit family and always stay at this motel. It has spacious rooms, comfortable beds, fantastic showers and best of all - it's always been immaculately clean. Never been bothered with road noise here. Could do with a couple of hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes on. Suitable for travellers, short/long stays, couples, family. We found it handy enough to everywhere we wanted to go.
