I was here during the autumn season...Oh My...the autumns trees are soo beautiful, with amazing autumn colours....I was so fortunate to be here at the right time, the right season to experience the beautiful autumn gardens. Definitely a place to go if you visit North Island!

I am ashamed to say that I have lived in Hamilton for a good number of years and have only been to the gardens for shows and a wedding or two. Walking through the Paradice Gardens is like travelling the world for free! You are transported to China, Renaissance Italy, 1950s USA, The UK and a good 1/2 dozen other locals! A must for locals and visitors alike. Make sure you take the river cruise as well A great day out and great value!

I had heard of the Hamilton Gardens but I could never have imagined how stunning they'd really be.

The grounds were tidy, spotless in fact, expecially considering the large amount of people going through.

Each garden had a theme and so much detail, including historical information, and so much work had gone into them. My favourite was the Japanese Garden, and had it been springet the English garden would have been a close second.

It is very peaceful and large open spaces for dogs.

I was so upset my camera ran out of battery as I'd live to relive the gardens all over again.

Thank Emma B
