There's no way I can rate it less than 5 stars. But yes, there is. Yes, it is pricey, quite overpriced, for the sizes of portions and sides. That is #1 sin. Second, it has an amazing selection of wines and spirits, but the beer assortment is quite rubbish. An unimpressive range of the cheapest macro-lager, and not a single stout! That is #2. But the oysters are good. Having said that, it did look like some of them had been shucked before, I mean, for a while already. That was #3. The 4th sin is that the assortment of oysters arrives unidentified. The last minute verbal identification comes across as an improv, and hardly believable. Glad they were not Bluff oysters though, as I find them highly overrated. And finally, the 5th sin was the fact that they do not hold mint jelly at all. I do appreciate that the lamb can come with a number of different sauces, but some of them are quite incompatible with lamb. The chef may have an issue with mint jelly - and I respect that - but some of us, customers, do have consume lamb with mint jelly. It's a perfect match, like oysters and stout.
