Have been here many times. A wonderful local spot that almost constantly has a line out the door. The inner dining space is small, but turnover time is reasonable.
The food here is impeccable: the dumplings are handmade by the front door as you order and as you approach the register, you can glimpse customer's bowls filled with tasty, colorful, texturally-enticing delights. The noodles have never disappointed- the handmade noodles are worth the extra cost if you want to try something new ($2), and leftover broth can be taken home to turn a ordinary weeknight package of ramen noodles into a spectacular low-cost meal. Shout out to the house dan dan noodles, cold pork noodles in garlic sauce, and the sad cold noodles! The only menu item I haven't been thrilled with are the vegetarian noodles (last item). Have tried to order the braised pork noodles multiple times, but they're always out... must be delightful! The heat here is intense.... an avid spice-lover from near the Sonoran Desert, I have never had an Eden Noodle meal without crying from the heat (which is just how I like it!) The Chinese pita bread is an interesting fusion- spiced beef was outrageous with piquant chili and garlic flavors dominating the filling.
Best of all, everything is reasonably priced and will fill even the most bottomless of stomachs (contrariwise, you can stretch one XL dish into two meals). Can have a complete meal for four people on less than $50.
Highly recommend! Can't wait to go back.
