It’s not easy to keep up a high standard year after year but Sails has found the recipe for success. Their staff are professional, knowledgeable and tentative. The food is as fresh as possible and the combination of flavours sublime. This is our go to restaurant for special occasions.

Sails' position and outlook is hard to beat. We haven't eaten here for some time, so it was a treat just reminding myself of how nice it is to dine there. Tables are well spaced, so you're never likely to be overheard - or to hear what others are talking about. And the food is delicious!! Service is also good, with a terrific cocktails selection, which we tested. The only negative is that it's up 18 stairs, with no lift, so disabled people have to miss out.

From start to finish, an outstanding dining experience. We started with a dozen tempura oysters which were plump and perfectly cooked. Then we had the Signature Menu which showcased fresh seafood, duck, beef and a lemon creme dessert. My husband did the wine match which was exceptional value for money, generous pours and a well considered assortment of wines.

Ordered the Signature menu with matching wine. Although a bit pricey, the quality of wines, food, the presentation and service made it really worthwhile. In addition, we had a seat by the window which offered amazing views over the marina and out to the harbour bridge. Being a Saturday evening, the light show across the harbour bridge was a huge bonus. Overall an amazing experience.
