Beautiful restaurant lovely view friendly staff l shouted myself for my birthday which was 5 days before l went the food was great and the little surprise that my waiter brought out was a plate with chocolate writing happy birthday and candle in a nice small dessert l had year on my 69 year eyes thank you Sails

After 30 years in business, Sails continues to maintain the fine dining experience. We've been going off and on since the 1980s and have always had a great time. And not just the amazing seafood, but also the wait staff who are always diligent and full of personality. Starting with the focaccia bread freshly made and warm & add in the inhouse made butter, to the mains of live crayfish selected from the aquariums and onto the desserts of which the feijoa gelato is divine.
Still a fantastic venue with the harbour bridge all lit up in the background and the yachts in the marina providing a magical backdrop.

It's delightful to know that you love everything from our freshly made focaccia bread to the divine feijoa gelato with apple cinnamon sponge and crème brulee which is a new recipe but still the same magical menu, and of course, the amazing seafood.

On our recent visit to Sails we once again experienced high quality service, excellent food and surroundings second to none. We come to this restaurant to celebrate our special days and we are made to feel so welcome. As always, my dietary requirements are met with no fuss evident. It is my hope that this restaurant makes the number one spot in Auckland. It is so deserving of this accolade. It is also my hope that Sails continues to prosper, even in these difficult financial times. Go there and support a fine dining experience by a window where you can check out the most expensive real estate in Auckland - the Westhaven mariner!

We had booked a set menu which still gave us several choices. Food, service and venue were all wonderful. This restaurant is constantly good so you can always rely on coming away very happy.

This restaurant is superb for any dining experience. Once again we have been delighted by impeccable and attentive service, top notch menu choices of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, all beautifullly presented with an extensive wine and beverages menu to match; along with views of the beautiful waterfront, parking right outside and a raging log fire inside adding that extra level of comfort and ambience on a cold winter’s day. Thank you Sails for another wonderful meal. The lemon infused, grilled crayfish was divine, as were the oysters and scallops. We will be back….
