An 86 year old with memories of large crayfish eaten around the world had his memories rekindled in the lovely setting. We had a wonderful outing dressing up and living like kings. Great service and a Happy Birthday dessert rounded off a great lunchtime visit.

We have been here a number of times over the years and every time Sails have delivered fantastic food, experienced and attentive service and a great atmosphere. To do this consistently over decades is truly remarkable. Not the cheapest place around but you never regret paying for this level of quality

There is only one place you can go in Auckland for an exceptional dining experience that is consistently flawless in every regard. From the iconic setting to the fresh produce that’s been respected to the professional waiting staff. Sails Restaurant deserves this five star review like no other.

It was a lovely night at Sails - awesome way to celebrate a birthday! We were seated by the window too and had a great view of the Marina. Booking a table was a breeze through Google, intimate environment, friendly service, good drinks, and the food was just amazing. Definitely coming back soon!

Sails is our "go to" restaurant in Auckland for personal and business dinners. Location coupled with easy free parking is the first draw card. The rest is in the people, atmosphere and last BUT not least, the fabulous food and wine. Its hard to find this perfect combination in the "madhouse" we call Auckland.
