This place claims the best butter chicken and it does not disappoint! Flavours & spice were spot on. We had the butter chicken and tikka masala and cannot wait to go back.

We came on Sunday night, food was delicious with good service, we had enjoy the meal with perfect spice.

We turned up without a reservation &, though the restaurant was already busy, luckily, the accommodating maitre d managed to find a table outside. The service was attentive & the dishes were superb. My wife enjoyed a delectable Kashmir chicken korma whilst I delighted in a delicious Goan Chicken Vindaloo (just the right degree of heat with a spicy aftertaste rather than the abrasive upfront burn so frequently experienced elsewhere ). Overall, an extremely enjoyable 'white tablecloth' meal in a stylish location & with friendly, professional service. Highly recommended!

Favorite and best indian restaurant in NZ by far. Our family of 8 had a fantastic meal and service. We were in Auckland to see the Wiggles and on the wall next to our table was a plate signed by the Wiggles that Tillie was thrilled with. Tillie had a cake also.

I'd heard great things and was not disappointed. I love my Indian food and Oh Calcutta is now one of my favorites. Will be back
