Food was fabulous - attn. gluten-free- very good.
Courses with the “journey thru India” came one after the other - no wait!
But we waited 1/2 hour for the dessert?! Anyway we did enjoy ourselves but it’s so open plan and you are very close to other guests- not so romantic?!
I felt like my gf status was forgotten with so many different attentive staff but it was ok bc my partner was happy to eat all the naan. No alternative for me though - and I thought there would be.
It’s a slick operation - giving cc details on booking and a threat of keeping $50 pp should you want to cancel within 24 hours!
But they do dish out the food and clear efficiently - but relaxing or comfortable - it wasn’t!

Tonight we dined at Cassia for the second time, will keep this brief, it should be a great review but the abrupt end to our evening ruined all of the good and left us feeling unappreciated and unlikely to return. Like our first visit the drinks were great, the food exceptional (expensive) and the service mostly good, this is where it went downhill, this is one of those restaurants that impose a two hour dining window when booking, i guess achieving that all comes down to the service i guess. We arrived on time for our 6.30 booking and were seated upstairs and allowed time to order drinks and survey menu, all was going fine, food was great & service was fine, after about 90 minutes we finished our mains and were offered dessert which we declined and continued drinking our bottle of wine, after a couple of minutes and well within our 2 hour window our waiter came up and advised there was a problem, he needed our table and we need to finish and leave, this totally undid all of the previous good service and make it highly unlikely we will return, such a shame!

We had an amazing experience . The service was excellent and the food was sublime. We have the restaurant month menu. It was excellent and plentiful.
The desert was fun and a wonderful way to end the night.

A lovely location, great service, and outstanding food. An impressive range of drinks available including inspired cocktails including low alcohol and no alcohol options.
The food is delicious, looks beautiful, and the flavours are rich and complex and various.
We chose the Journey through India- which seemed to include about 8 dishes of various sizes - a “trust the chef” - was wonderful. A great variety of tastes, sauces, heat, lots of wows.
