Great range on menu, food was great. staff friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced. Convenient to hotel.

Located on the ground floor of the Waldorf Celestion Hotel, opposite the reception. We noticed that it was busy every time we walked past, so we gave it a try. We shared popadoms and chutneys, followed by Chicken Tika Marsala and a Mango Chicken for main course, both with pilau rice. Washed down by a beer each. Very pleasant food and good service. It cost us NZ$65 for 2 and was great value. I can see why it's busy.

staying above here got a take away afraid not very good but always seem busy so eating in might be better option

This was a nice restaurant serving east Indian food near the downtown district of the city. The setting was very nice and provided good choices of curries and other items. Service was really nice and food quality was really good and tasty. Our food came in time and well prepared to our order. It provides a real nice venue to try and enjoy Indian food.

Standard Little india fare well good and presented by helpful and interactive staff. Meals delivered to table were accurate to order flavoursome and good portion sized. would have preferred an option to have an individual portion starter each person rather than just two for the three of us to share.
