This has a nice photo opp with the signature gateway structure. There are often special or seasonal events held in Aotea Square so it is a good location to check for activities.

Cute park that seems to always have something new and different going on for locals and tourists alike.

This is a very nice park in the heart of the city it is cool if you are a tourist because you can see the Maori carvings. We went here to see a show and it was a nice place to chill out

Always have some activities to do or watch in this amazing public space. Like Diwali festival, Taiwan day and lots of cultural presentation

This is the largest open-air space in Auckland's CBD. There's room for many people as some major events happen here. it's highlight is a large arch called “Waharoa’ (Gateway in Maori), made of wood and copper that features musical instruments, shells, birds, fish, the moon symbolizing New Zealand art and the Maori influence. It was designed by Maori sculptor Selwyn Muru. The square was named for Motu Aotea, Maori for the Great Barrier Island. Worth a "look see"...
